Steven O’Brady has been working in the Emergency Medical Services as an EMT since 1997 and a paramedic from the year 2000. He started his career at Richmond County Ambulance, as an EMT which he worked for 5 years to later be employed at Richmond University Hospital. There as a Paramedic he spent 15 years working under the 911 medical emergency system gaining two paramedic of the year awards. Currently, Mr. O’Brady is a Full-time assistant professor at Kingsborough Community College under the Allied Health program as the clinical coordinator for the EMT/paramedic program. He teaches future EMT’s and paramedics at the college addition to working at TIMER since 2018 as a CIC. He holds an MPA and is currently attending a Doctorate program in Public Administration. His EMT-P and instructor certifications are AHA certified in all three disciplines along with NYS certified instructor coordinator. With over twenty years of industry experience, Steven O’Brady is committed to educating future first responders and medical professionals for years to come.
